I rarely go without nail polish on any given day. To me - having my nails freshly painted in an appealing color makes me feel put together and polished. And no, this doesn't have to an expensive habit. With practice - I paint my own nails 95% of the time.
So today I wanted to share with you my four "go-to" colors for any day of the year. Of course with Fall approaching I am craving the deep burgundies and chocolate colors. In the Spring and Summer, I can't help but be pulled towards the bright pinks and orangey hues. But these four colors work for me all year round and are very accepted in the workplace. Both OPI Bubble Bath and Essie's Sand Tropez are great choices for a nude color. Essie's Mink Muffs gives me a little bit bolder edge to the nude and a simple, classic red, like Chanel's Dragon, never goes out of style.

I just picked up some new OPI and Essie fall colors and can't wait to use them...I'm trying to resist the temptation now and wait for September :)
I love both those essie colors -- and that chanel is such a classic red! xo

I totally agree with you and since becoming pregnant I have really slacked on this. With school starting back up, I am going to make an effort to do this.
I've been looking for a really great nude color, so I think I'll try the first OPI color you suggested. I agree...I always feel so much more put together when I have my nails painted.
I couldn't have picked better colors myself. So perfect for everyday. Thanks for sharing! So glad I found your blog!

I'm the same way, I feel much more put together when my nails are painted. My fave colors are OPI Cajun Shrimp & Essie Ballet Slippers.
