We have had some extreme wind in NC! It has made for chilly walks outside. I love how I am able to layer underneath a tunic for these transition days and shed the layers once warmer weather is upon us!

Cold Weekend

I always feel for the Northern bloggers or when I'm home trying to take pictures in Minnesota...

It was freezing this weekend very "snow/rainy." Which you can read...very hard to take outfit pictures in. So here is my, I just want to go to a movie and get out of this nonsense attire.

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day and I wanted to leave you with a little Valentine's Day outfit inspiration. Yes, I do look like a walking Valentine, but it was fun! I love the boldness of pairing red and pink together any day of the year, but it is extra special when you want to feel all lovey dovey! I included some pearl statement pieces to dress up the look for the workplace.

I love visiting home and borrowing a few of my mom's older items, like this gorgeous Coach. My sisters and I usually have wars over them, but end up sharing in the end. The only problem now is we live all across the country...we should set up a UPS account to ship back and forth. I was so excited when Coach launched their new Legacy line this past year. The clean lines and simple, structured shapes make the perfect work bags.

I went shopping in my very own closet this weekend and found a few pieces I have not worn in quite awhile! It was a fun way to re-examine what I already own. This mustard colored shell and sweater I bought at The Limited last winter was the perfect touch for the chilly weather we had. By layering different pieces I was able to give an overall different look I have not tried yet. I encourage everyone to shop their closet and see what you come up with!
